In South Korea, where people are very conscious of what they see on social networking sites, sweet potatoes (koguma) are a hot topic of conversation. The collaboration of the sweetness of the sweet potato and the bitterness of the bitter caramel makes it an addictive trendy sweet.

  • Baked sweet potato / one (object)
  • Ice cream (vanilla) / proper quantity
  • Bitter Caramel N / proper quantity
  • Sweet potato chips / proper quantity

Recipe

1. Cut the yaki-imo open lengthwise, top with ice cream and sweet potato chips, and drizzle with bitter caramel.
2. Refrigerate the yaki-imo well to keep the ice cream from melting and to prolong its appearance.
3. Caramel milk and chocolate syrup are also recommended.
